2007 was San Martin's last year as an operating mine. Reclamation activities are ongoing at the site which include backfilling, waste encapsulation, recontouring, revegetation and final leach and rinse on the leach pads. As areas become reclaimed they are ceded to the San Martin Foundation, where commercial agricultural projects are piloted for future commercial operations.
