The Dee Joint Venture project continues to exhibit good potential for an eventual mining operation. Drilling continues in the south Arturo Zone.
The South Arturo project consists of a series of sediment hosted Carlin-style gold deposits adjacent to and including the former Dee gold mine, 35 kilometres northwest of Elko, Nevada. Goldcorp and Barrick drilled approximately 65,000 metres of mostly infill drilling to improve resource confidence and have initiated scoping level, environmental, engineering and metallurgical studies to provide guidance in the further development of the South Arturo Project as an open pit mine. Exploration drilling continues on other adjacent targets.
