Mine Planner - U/G

Title: MINE PLANNER – U/G

Location: Hoyle Pond Mine
                  South Porcupine, Ontario

Reports to: SENIOR PLANNER

Schedule: 5 X 2 (8 hours)

Responsibilities:

      The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining, reporting and monitoring of production statistics and performance to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
• Planning sequence of mining activities, provide blasthole and driving layouts and monitoring progress to ensure monthly forecast is achieved.

Qualifications:

      The incumbent must possess a Degree in Mining Engineering or a Technical Diploma in Mining with a minimum of 5 years mine operation experience. Basic computer skills and familiarity with AutoCad and Vulcan or similar software experience would be a definite asset. A strong focus on safety and excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. The individual must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
