Our senior executives and Board members have been instrumental in establishing the Goldcorp corporate culture of sustainable growth and continued success.

Many, like our President and CEO, Charles Jeannes, have a long history with the company that extends back to our predecessor companies. All bring decades of experiences in various aspects of the industry, from corporate development and international mining law, to mergers and acquisitions, exploration and development, mine operations, corporate social responsibility and community-building, and projects related to Indigenous peoples and the environment.

Charles A. Jeannes , , , President & Chief Executive Officer

Charles A. Jeannes was appointed President and CEO of Goldcorp in December 2008. Mr. Jeannes previously held the role of Executive Vice President, Corporate Development from November 2006 until December 31, 2008. Mr. Jeannes was former Executive Vice President, Administration, General Counsel and Secretary of Glamis Gold from 1999 until its merger with Goldcorp in November 2006. Prior to joining Glamis, Mr. Jeannes worked for Placer Dome at its San Francisco and Vancouver offices as Vice President of Placer Dome North America. He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Nevada and graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law with honors in 1983. He practiced law from 1982 until 1994 as a shareholder and head of the natural resources section at Woodburn and Wedge in Reno, Nevada and has broad experience in mining transactions, public and private financing, permitting and international regulation.

Lindsay Hall , , , Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hall was appointed Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for Goldcorp on April 19, 2006. Mr. Hall is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in senior financial positions in the energy industry. He has held a series of progressively senior positions at various major business units of Duke Energy Corporation, culminating in the role of Vice-President and Treasurer. Mr. Hall also previously held the position of Vice-President, Finance, for Westcoast Energy until it was acquired by Duke Energy Corporation. Mr. Hall has a B.A. in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba.

Steve Reid , , , Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Reid is a mining engineer with 30 years of extensive international experience in both the operating and business aspects of the mining industry. Prior to joining Goldcorp, he worked for Placer Dome as the Country Manager for the Canadian operations. He spent a total of 13 years working for Placer, holding numerous corporate, mine management and operating roles worldwide. Mr. Reid has also worked in leadership positions for Kingsgate Consolidated and Newcrest Mining Limited, where he was responsible for running operations throughout Asia and Australia.

David Deisley , , , Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs & General Counsel

David L. Deisley joined Goldcorp Inc. in September 2007 as Vice President, General Counsel. On July 8, 2010 Mr. Deisley was appointed Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel. Previously, he served as regional general counsel for Barrick Gold Corporation’s North America Region in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Deisley also was based in Santiago, Chile for three years working with Barrick on its Pascua Lama and Veladero projects. Prior to joining Barrick, David was a shareholder at Parsons Behle & Latimer where he served as a member and chair of the firm’s Natural Resources practice. He has presented a number of papers at Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation annual and special institutes and MALRI seminars on various mining topics. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Mr. Deisley has over 20 years experience in the mining industry in North and South America.

Timo Jauristo , , , Executive Vice President, Corporate Development

Mr. Jauristo was appointed Vice President, Corporate Development of the Corporation effective June 16, 2009. On July 8, 2010, Mr. Jauristo was appointed Executive Vice President, Corporate Development of Goldcorp. Mr. Jauristo is a geologist with over 30 years of international experience in the mining industry in gold, base metals and uranium. He spent 15 years with Placer Dome in various operating and corporate roles in exploration in Australia and Asia and in business development. Mr. Jauristo was involved in numerous merger and acquisition transactions in many of the major gold producing regions of the world. Between leaving Placer Dome in 2005 and joining Goldcorp in 2009, Mr. Jauristo was the Chief Executive Officer of Zincore Metals Inc. from November 2006 to May 2009 and was the Chief Executive Officer of Southwestern Resources Corp. from September 2007 to May 2009, both junior mining companies with exploration and development assets mostly in Peru.

Barry Olson , , , Senior Vice President, Project Development

Mr. Olson was appointed Senior Vice President, Project Development on July 8, 2010. From October 2008 to July 2010 he served as Vice President, Project Development and prior to that as the Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Luismin, Mexico from May 2007 to October 2008. From August 2006 until the completion of the Glamis Gold acquisition, Mr. Olson was Vice President, Director, Mexican Operations of Glamis. Prior to joining Glamis, from 2001 to August 2006, Mr. Olson was Vice President, General Manager for Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp. at its Rochester mine and Senior Vice President, Operations for mines in Chile and Argentina. Mr. Olson spent 10 years with Amax Gold as Vice President and General manager at operations in Nevada, California, and Chile. Mr. Olson has over 23 years in the mining industry in North and South America. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Mining Engineering, both from the University of Idaho.

Charlie Ronkos , , , Senior Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Ronkos was appointed Senior Vice President, Exploration on July 8, 2010 and previously held the position of Vice President, Exploration. From 1999 until the completion of the Glamis Gold acquisition, Mr. Ronkos served in various roles, ultimately as Vice President, Exploration of Glamis Gold. He has been employed with the company since 1992, seven of those years with Rayrock Resources Inc. prior to its acquisition by Glamis Gold. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Wittenberg University and graduated from the University of Nevada with a Master of Science degree in 1981. His 33 year career includes assignments with Rio Algom, Battle Mountain Gold, Pegasus, Hecla and Cordex.

Horacio Bruna , , , Vice President, Canada & US Operations

Horacio Bruna is applying his extensive experience in underground mining gained in Mexico and Chile to head up our Canadian and US operations, with special focus on the expansion of the High Grade Zone at Red Lake and the underground drift that will connect it to the Cochenour deposit.

George R. Burns , , , Senior Vice President, Mexican Operations

Mr. Burns was appointed Senior Vice President, Canada and United States Operations on July 8, 2010. Prior to that he held the position of Vice President, Canada and United States since August 8, 2007. Mr. Burns has over 29 years of experience in the mineral sector including executive, operations, development and engineering leadership roles in gold, copper and coal operations. Prior to joining Goldcorp, Mr. Burns was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Centerra Gold Inc. Mr. Burns served in various capacities for Asarco including Vice President of mining as well as numerous capacities for Cyprus Minerals Corporation and he began his career with Anaconda Company in 1978. Mr. Burns received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in 1982.

Salvador Garcia , , , Vice President, Mexican Operations

Mr. Garcia was appointed Vice President, Mexico on May 20, 2008. Since February 2007 he has held the role as Director of Goldcorp Mexcio and was Director General for the Mexico region until May 2008. Mr. Garcia has held several postions at Luismin since 1986 including; Mine Supervisor at San Dimas District, Mine Superintendent, Assistant Manager, and San Dimas Manager. Prior to this, he worked as Chief Mine Production in San Martin, Zacatecas for Industrial Minera Mexico (Grupo Mexico) until 1985. He received is B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Guanajuato in 1978. Mr. Garcia is a member of the Mexican Mining Engineers, Metallurgists and Geologists Association and is a member of the Board of the Mexican Mining Chamber.

Eduardo Villacorta , , , Vice President, Central & South American Operations

Mr. Villacorta was appointed Vice President, Central and South America effective December 1, 2009. Mr. Villacorta has been involved with Goldcorp’s Central American businesses at Marlin, the San Martín gold mine and Cerro Blanco for more than nine years. He went to law school at the National University of Honduras, with an emphasis on corporate law and has taken several training programs on management and negotiations. As a member of Abogados y Asesores Corporativos S.A.C., a law firm in Honduras, he worked for several mining companies in the country, one of them being Glamis which he joined in 2001 as General Manager of the San Martín gold mine. Prior to his actual position, Mr. Villacorta was the Executive Director for the region.

Cheryl Sedestrom , , , Senior Vice President, Metals Marketing

Ms. Sedestrom was appointed Senior Vice President, Metals Marketing, on July 8, 2010. From May 2008 to July 2010, she served as Vice President, Metals Marketing and prior to that as Vice President, Risk from January 2007 – May 2008. From 2000 until the completion of the Glamis Gold acquisition, Ms. Sedestrom served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Glamis. Ms. Sedestrom has over 25 years of experience in the mining and financial industries with Glamis, Goldman Sachs & Co. and others. Ms. Sedestrom is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a MBA in accounting as well as a BA in political science, both from the University of Michigan.

Colette Rustad , , , Senior Vice President, Controller

Ms. Rustad has over 20 years experience as a finance professional in the international mining industry. She joined Goldcorp as the Vice-President, Controller in April 2007, and on July 8, 2010, was appointed Senior Vice President, Controller. Previously, during her 12-year tenure at Placer Dome Inc., she held senior leadership positions as Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer, Africa, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and as Director, Global Internal Audit and Treasurer, North America. During her eight years at Ernst & Young, Toronto, she specialized in both financial institutions and resources and obtained the CICA in-depth tax certification. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and British Columbia; has completed the Advanced Management Program, The Wharton Business School, The University of Pennsylvania; and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.

Gerard Atkinson , , , Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Mr. Atkinson joined Goldcorp in May 2006 and was appointed Vice President, Human Resources, Corporate and Canada effective May 2, 2007. On July 8, 2010, Mr. Atkinson was appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resources of Goldcorp. Mr. Atkinson has 20 years experience in senior human resources roles in the mining industry and in the oil and gas industry with Duke Energy Gas Transmission and Trans Canada Pipelines. Mr. Atkinson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Durham in England.

Mark Ruus , , , Senior Vice President, Tax

Mr. Ruus was appointed Vice President, Tax effective November 15, 2006, having joined Goldcorp in July 2006. On July 8, 2010, Mr. Ruus was appointed Senior Vice President, Tax. He is responsible for global tax planning, tax-related support of corporate development and finance activities and tax compliance. Before joining the Corporation, Mr. Ruus was Vice President, Taxation for Placer Dome where he played leading tax roles for 10 years. Prior to this he spent 14 years with Price Waterhouse (pre-merger with Coopers & Lybrand), servicing primarily international resource companies. Mr. Ruus is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.
