Workplace Safety

As the project proceeds, workplace health and safety standards are being established and ingrained from the outset. Based on Goldcorp standards and our Safe Enough for our Families vision, safety training begins at new-worker induction. Our health and safety program covers a broad range of safety issues such as working at high altitude, alcohol and drugs, driving in mountainous terrain, confined space entry and more. Safety coverage is 24/7, with continuous inspection and monitoring of material, equipment, and work practices.
