Wheaton River Minerals Trading Warrants on American Exchange
Wheaton River Minerals Ltd. (Vancouver, BC) is pleased to announce that its 2002 warrants began trading today on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol WHT.WS.

Each 2002 common share purchase warrant is exercisable into one common share at a price of CDN$1.65 per share at any time on or before 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time) on May 30, 2007.
