More than symbolic, Creating Choices is diversity in action. The Creating Choices Program was designed for the very specific purpose of assisting women in advancing their careers within the organization, through education, skills training and mentorship, to enable them to assume greater responsibility for their work, their opportunities for advancement and to thereby improve their lives and those of their families and communities where Goldcorp operates. To-date over 1,200 women at Goldcorp have graduated from the Creating Choices Program. They will serve as role models to other women who will follow in their footsteps, who will go on to assume ever greater positions of responsibility and leadership at Goldcorp.
Prior to joining Goldcorp, Anna worked at the law firm of Davis LLP in the Securities and Corporate Finance Department, working in mergers and acquisitions, and related general corporate and commercial transactions, working with junior companies listed on the TSX-V and TSX.
