Our senior executives and Board members have been instrumental in establishing the Goldcorp corporate culture of sustainable growth and continued success.

Many, like our President and CEO, Charles Jeannes, have a long history with the company that extends back to our predecessor companies. All bring decades of experiences in various aspects of the industry, from corporate development and international mining law, to mergers and acquisitions, exploration and development, mine operations, corporate social responsibility and community-building, and projects related to Indigenous peoples and the environment.

Charles A. Jeannes , , , President & Chief Executive Officer

Charles A. Jeannes was appointed President and CEO of Goldcorp in December 2008. Mr. Jeannes previously held the role of Executive Vice President, Corporate Development from November 2006 until December 31, 2008. Mr. Jeannes was former Executive Vice President, Administration, General Counsel and Secretary of Glamis Gold from 1999 until its merger with Goldcorp in November 2006. Prior to joining Glamis, Mr. Jeannes worked for Placer Dome at its San Francisco and Vancouver offices as Vice President of Placer Dome North America. He holds a B.A. degree from the University of Nevada and graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law with honors in 1983. He practiced law from 1982 until 1994 as a shareholder and head of the natural resources section at Woodburn and Wedge in Reno, Nevada and has broad experience in mining transactions, public and private financing, permitting and international regulation.

George R. Burns , , , Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Burns was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in August 2012. Prior to that he held the positions of Senior Vice President, Mexican Operations and Vice President, Canada and United States respectively. Mr. Burns has over 30 years of experience in the mineral sector including executive, operations, development and engineering leadership roles in gold, copper and coal operations. Prior to joining Goldcorp, Mr. Burns was Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Centerra Gold Inc. Mr. Burns served in various capacities for Asarco including Vice President of mining as well as numerous capacities for Cyprus Minerals Corporation and he began his career with Anaconda Company in 1978. Mr. Burns received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology in 1982.

Lindsay Hall , , , Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Hall was appointed Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for Goldcorp on April 19, 2006. Mr. Hall is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in senior financial positions in the energy industry. He has held a series of progressively senior positions at various major business units of Duke Energy Corporation, culminating in the role of Vice-President and Treasurer. Mr. Hall also previously held the position of Vice-President, Finance, for Westcoast Energy until it was acquired by Duke Energy Corporation. Mr. Hall has a B.A. in Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba.

Charlene Ripley , , , Executive Vice President, General Counsel

Ms. Charlene Ripley was appointed Executive Vice President, General Counsel at Goldcorp effective April.1st, 2013. Prior to Goldcorp, Ms. Ripley served as SVP & General Counsel at Linn Energy in Houston where she was responsible for leading the legal, information technology, corporate governance, compliance, government affairs, insurance and risk management departments, as well as supporting several multi-million and billion dollar growth transactions. Ms. Ripley holds a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from the University of Alberta and earned her law degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a member of The Law Society of Alberta, Texas State Bar and Canadian Bar Association. Ms. Ripley is a passionate philanthropist who also serves on numerous non-profit boards. She was honored in 2012 by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce as the Breakthrough Woman for the Energy Industry and received The Association of Women Attorneys 2013 Premiere Women in Law award.

Russell Ball , , , Executive Vice President, Capital Management

Mr. Russell Ball was appointed Executive Vice President of Capital Management at Goldcorp in May 2013. Prior to his role at Goldcorp, Mr. Ball served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Newmont Mining Corporation. Over his 19 years with Newmont, Mr. Ball worked in audit, finance, treasury and investor relations before joining the executive team as Chief Financial Officer. His tenure at Newmont has taken him to Indonesia, Australia, Canada, Peru, Mexico, New Zealand, Ghana and the United States. Prior to Newmont, Russell was a manager in the finance and audit groups with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in Durban, South Africa. Mr. Ball serves as a Director and Audit Committee Chair of Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP). He is both a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of South Africa and a Certified Public Accountant in Colorado.

Brent Bergeron , , , Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Goldcorp Inc.

Mr. Bergeron was appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs in September 2012. Mr. Bergeron joined Goldcorp in November 2010, assuming the role of Vice President, Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining the company, he served as a senior executive at several international companies and has extensive experience in the areas of government and public relations, corporate affairs, operations and communications. Mr. Bergeron is responsible for Goldcorp's external relationships with governments and other relevant stakeholders, communications and for growing the company's Corporate Social Responsibility function. Mr. Bergeron holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) in Economics and a Masters of Arts (Economics) degree from Carleton University in Ottawa. He also serves as a member of the Executive Steering Committee for the Responsible Gold Standard Initiative at the World Gold Council and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Quebec Mining Association and MinAlliance.

Paul Farrow , , , Senior Vice President, People and Safety

Mr. Farrow joined Goldcorp in 2007 as Director of Safety. Prior to Goldcorp, he worked predominantly in the management consulting arena focusing on safety, environment and sustainability as well as strategic planning and organizational design. His consulting experience has covered many industries including mining, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, transportation, automotive and manufacturing. Mr. Farrow routinely worked with senior executives and boards in his consulting career. Earlier in his career Mr. Farrow used his strong technical background to lead process improvement initiatives at several pharmaceutical and agrichemical companies. In 2012 Mr. Farrow took on the role of Senior Vice President People and Safety, a new position at Goldcorp with the goal of integrating our People and Safety strategies. His assignments have taken him across five continents and he has lived in England, Germany, (former) Yugoslavia, United States and now Canada. He is a Graduate of the Royal Society of Chemistry from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK.

Charlie Ronkos , , , Senior Vice President, Exploration

Mr. Ronkos was appointed Senior Vice President, Exploration on July 8, 2010 and previously held the position of Vice President, Exploration. From 1999 until the completion of the Glamis Gold acquisition, Mr. Ronkos served in various roles, ultimately as Vice President, Exploration of Glamis Gold. He has been employed with the company since 1992, seven of those years with Rayrock Resources Inc. prior to its acquisition by Glamis Gold. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Wittenberg University and graduated from the University of Nevada with a Master of Science degree in 1981. His 33 year career includes assignments with Rio Algom, Battle Mountain Gold, Pegasus, Hecla and Cordex.

Colette Rustad , , , Senior Vice President, Controller

Ms. Rustad has over 20 years experience as a finance professional in the international mining industry. She joined Goldcorp as the Vice-President, Controller in April 2007, and on July 8, 2010, was appointed Senior Vice President, Controller. Previously, during her 12-year tenure at Placer Dome Inc., she held senior leadership positions as Vice-President, Chief Financial Officer, Africa, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and as Director, Global Internal Audit and Treasurer, North America. During her eight years at Ernst & Young, Toronto, she specialized in both financial institutions and resources and obtained the CICA in-depth tax certification. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and British Columbia; has completed the Advanced Management Program, The Wharton Business School, The University of Pennsylvania; and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.

Eduardo Villacorta , , , Senior Vice President, Central & South American Operations

Mr. Villacorta was appointed Vice President, Central and South America effective December 1, 2009. Mr. Villacorta has been involved with Goldcorp’s Central American businesses at Marlin, the San Martín gold mine and Cerro Blanco for more than nine years. He went to law school at the National University of Honduras, with an emphasis on corporate law and has taken several training programs on management and negotiations. As a member of Abogados y Asesores Corporativos S.A.C., a law firm in Honduras, he worked for several mining companies in the country, one of them being Glamis which he joined in 2001 as General Manager of the San Martín gold mine. Prior to his actual position, Mr. Villacorta was the Executive Director for the region.

Chris Woodall , , , Senior Vice President Operations, Canada and US

Mr. Woodall was appointed Vice President Operations, Canada and US in January 2013. Prior to this, he held the positions of Senior Director, Mining Operational Support and Area General Manager with Barrick Gold. While at Barrick, Mr. Woodall was instrumental in increasing efficiencies at the Hemlo Operations site, and throughout his career, has been recognized for his successes extending mine life by improving mine efficiencies and for making fundamental safety and cultural changes. Mr. Woodall has over 25 years of experience in the mineral sector with a strong emphasis on underground mining. He began his career in Gold Mining in Tennent Creek, Australia in 1985. He has also held management positions with the Renison Tin Mine, Henty Gold Mine in Tasmania and the CSA Copper Mine in New South Wales, Australia. Mr. Woodall received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering from the Western Australian School of Mines in 1991 and also holds a degree in Surveying from the University of South Australia.

Tomás Iturriaga Hidalgo , , , Regional Vice President, Mexico

Tomás Iturriaga Hidalgo was appointed Regional Vice President, Mexico in June 2014. Prior to this Mr. Iturriaga held the position of Chief Operating Officer-Mexico for two years, playing a key role in the leadership team that ramped up Goldcorp’s flagship Peñasquito operation. Working closely with the Corporate Affairs and Legal teams, he has been instrumental in strengthening relationships with local communities and Mexican regulatory bodies. Mr. Iturriaga was Mine General Manager at Goldcorp’s Los Filos mine for five years, taking this operation from the final stages of construction to the leading gold producer in Mexico for three consecutive years. Under his leadership, the operation obtained the Mexican Mining Chamber’s Silver Helmet Safety Award for the best safety performance in the Mexican mining industry as well as winning Goldcorp’s internal award for Best Overall Safety Performance for two consecutive years. Mr. Iturriaga holds a B.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the ITESM, a master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird University, and graduated from the General Management Program of Harvard University. He is a board member at the Mexican Mining Chamber and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, and Vice Chairman of the University of Guanajuato School of Mines Board of Trustees.

Anna M. Tudela , , , Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Secretary

Ms. Tudela was appointed Vice President, Regulatory Affairs on May 20, 2008. Prior thereto, she served as Director, Regulatory Compliance from August 2007 to May 2008, was appointed Corporate Secretary on May 2, 2007 and served as Director, Legal and Assistant Corporate Secretary from August 15, 2005 to May 2, 2007. Ms. Tudela has more than 25 years of experience in the securities and corporate finance areas. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries, the Institute of Corporate Directors, the British Columbia and Yukon Chamber of Mines, Forum for Women Entrepreneurs BC, the Rocky Mountain Mineral Foundation and a member of Women on Board. Prior to joining Goldcorp, Ms. Tudela worked in the Securities and Corporate Finance Department of Davis LLP. Ms. Tudela was Corporate Secretary of Diamond Fields Resources Inc. from 1995 to 1996 and Director, Legal and Assistant Corporate Secretary of Silver Wheaton from July 2005 to October 2007.
